✔️ For those who are attracted to the natural outdoors
Spend time in nature, making the most of what is there.
Even if it's not flashy, I want to cherish a camping experience that will stay in my heart forever.
For those of you who feel the same way, we have some news to share with you.
The FELDON SHELTER JAPAN team is pleased to welcome Kosuzume Junji , a camp cook and outdoor coordinator with many years of experience, as a special advisor.
✔️ FELDON SHELTER and Jinji Kosuzume. The values that connect naturally
This encounter was not a coincidence, but rather inevitable.
What Kosuzume has been conveying is the idea of a "life-sized outdoor experience" that is in harmony with nature.
It is a style that does not decorate more than necessary, but creates a life carefully.
And New Zealand, where Feldon Shelter was born,
A country that values "not having too much" and "going with the flow of nature."
✔️ Load only the necessary gear in your car ✔️ Set up a roof tent wherever you want to stay that night ✔️ Enjoy a simple meal around a campfire
The type of travel that FELDON SHELTER wants to deliver was a natural fit with Kosuzume's philosophy.
✔️ One spring afternoon spent with Jinji in Boso
The other day, Kosuzume and I visited the coast of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba.
We were in a car with a FELDON SHELTER rooftop tent, with no specific destination in mind, just drawn by the spring breeze.
In the evening, we parked our car on a hill overlooking the sea and set up our tent.
Kosuzume quietly said:
"Instead of looking for a place to pitch a tent, 'wherever you park your car becomes your home.'
That's what freedom is all about."
Then she made a braised dish of spring cabbage and clams using the vegetables and clams we had brought with us.
The richness of that dish, which I ate while feeling the breeze, the smell, and the sound of the fire, is beyond words.

✔️ Future initiatives
At FELDON SHELTER JAPAN, together with special advisor Jinji Kosuzume,
We plan to launch various communications and initiatives in the future.
-
Camping style suggestions for each season
-
Practical workshop using a roof tent
-
Introducing outdoor cooking and tools unique to Kosuzume
-
A field event with the theme of "traveling life"
Just the right amount of space for each journey.
We will be working with you to bring you outdoor experiences that allow you to relax and connect with nature.
✔️ Living with a roof tent
Just having a roof tent makes your travels more free.
The destination, the time, the food.
We are very happy to be able to carefully convey the charm of this place together with a trusted travel veteran like Kosuzume Jinji.
We hope that this will bring you closer to "staying in nature" and help you further expand your outdoor lifestyle.
